Engineering USRG Program: Undergraduate Summer Research Grant Program

Description:
Each summer the Dwight Look College of Engineering at Texas A&M University offers undergraduate students the opportunity to participate in ongoing research with faculty members. IT IS OPEN TO ALL ENGINEERING MAJORS and related math/science disciplines. This program is consistent with National Science Foundation expectations for research experience for undergraduate programs. The program spans 10 weeks and involves undergraduate students from Texas A&M and other colleges and universities within the U.S. and its territories. During the summer research experience, participants work closely with the faculty members and graduate students on current research projects, prepare a research plan, progress report, abstract, final technical paper, and a research poster. Students also attend professional development seminars, a 5-week GRE workshop, and make a formal poster presentation at the conclusion of the program.
