Description:
Chemistry at the Space Time Limit (CaSTL) is one of nine National Science Foundation (NSF) funded Centers for Chemical Innovation. The CaSTL Diversity Research Fellowship is a 10-week summer program for undergraduate students interested in conducting supervised research with a University of California Irvine (UCI) faculty mentor who is a member of CaSTL. The goals of the program are to encourage outstanding students from underrepresented groups (1) to pursue STEM careers related to physical chemistry and (2) to apply to the graduate program at UCI.

A stipend of $4500, reimbursement for out of town travel costs up to $500, and a travel award to attend a regional or national research conference to present successful CaSTL summer research projects will be offered. For more information, visit www.castl.uci.edu/about-us/opportunities#summer.
