The Data Driven Knowledge Discovery and Management laboratory is looking forward to expanding its team with strong research candidates. The focus of the research is on developing machine learning models for predicting and classifying chronic diseases. Successful candidates must have an interest in natural language processing, text mining and machine learning. A strong background in computational algorithms and software development is a plus. In addition to conducting research and developing new machine learning algorithms, students will have the opportunity to work with sponsors from industry or professionals from the health sector.
