Description:
The Biomedical Data Science in Context program at The Jackson Laboratory in Bar Harbor, Maine, is an interdisciplinary experience designed for students who want to explore how data science can be applied to biological research. Participants will work with real biomedical datasets, gain hands-on experience in computational analysis, and engage in discussions around the ethical implications of data science.

This two-week residential program is well-suited for students who are curious about integrating computational tools into their research or considering careers in biomedical research, genomics, or bioinformatics. All admitted students will receive full scholarships to cover student travel, as well as housing and meals during the program.
