Thesis-writing Fellowship Opportunity

Academic Level:
Graduate Students (PhD)

Through an NSF CAREER Grant we will be offering one or two $15,000 fellowships for Ph.D. students in mathematics or applied mathematics who intend to graduate in the 2018-2019 academic year and who have done extraordinary teaching and outreach during their time as graduate students especially during summers. Recipients will be expected not to teach during the semester that they receive these funds.

Applications are especially encouraged from students from underrepresented groups or whose teaching and outreach has especially impacted students from underrepresented groups.

If you or anyone you know is graduating in the 2018-2019 school year, please consider applying.

The deadline to apply is Jan 31

This will happen again next year, so keep it in mind if you're graduating 2019-2020!
