Description:
Dr. Eicher-Miller seeks applicants for a highly motivated full time post-doctoral research fellow who will be responsible for the development of research questions, leading original analyses, manuscript authorship, and coordination and managing of a large USDA/NIFA community research project. This 5 year project, already in year 2.5, involves the creation of food policy councils in poor, rural communities. The successful applicant will provide community coaching to these communities and will travel to those sites as needed as well as manage graduate students to direct data collection.

The position will also fulfill oversight and management of Indiana’s Emergency Food Resource Network (IEFRN, https://www.purdue.edu/indianasefrnetwork/), including, supervising student workers to manage the IEFRN database, website, and write the newsletter (6x per year). Duties will include editorial work, development of materials, and collaboration with Extension and the community.
