Description:
The Chicago Botanic Garden hosts a summer research experiences for undergraduates (REU) internship program that focuses on plant biology and conservation.

We provide budding scientists opportunities to participate in all stages of research and build science communication skills to grow personally and professionally. Interns will participate in a near-peer mentoring network. This includes Ph.D. and Master's students from the joint Chicago Botanic Garden-Northwestern University Graduate Program in Plant Biology and Conservation as well as high school and Ph.D. level scientists.

The Chicago Botanic Garden REU program will provide support for any relevant and/or necessary costs associated with travel, housing, or other costs incurred during the internship. This compensation would be in addition to the stipend of $6,250.

To apply online visit our internship application website. You must be a current undergraduate student and a citizen or permanent resident of the United States or its territories to qualify for this internship.
