Note: this opportunity encourages applications from community college students.Description: Are you looking for a fantastic undergraduate research experience this summer? Join us for the Summer Program for Interdisciplinary Research and Education - Emerging Interface Technologies (SPIRE-EIT) Summer Research Experience for Undergraduate Students. The program is a ten-week undergraduate internship where students work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams, receive core training, and gain hands-on research experience with emerging interface technologies.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the United States Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program. Applicants must be in and remain in good academic standing.
Program Details:
The program takes place on the ISU Campus.
$6,000 stipend for the summer.
Free on-campus apartment housing.
Travel allowance.
Training and hands-on experience will include classroom lectures, activities, a journal club, and get-to-know-faculty seminars.
Food allowance, which will include dining dollars to be used in the ISU cafeteria or other food vendors on campus, in addition to several meals being provided by the program.
