The Cancer Prevention Research Training Program (CPRTP) is is an NCI-funded summer fellowship in cancer prevention:
-Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
-Must reside in Texas (U.S.) by the fellowship start date.
-Open to undergraduates, graduates, and health profession students. Masters, Doctoral, and first-year Medical Students are preferred.
-$17/hour stipend + $1,000 research support.
-Complementary round-trip airfare & housing assistance for qualified applicants.
-Must be enrolled in a U.S. degree-granting program (Bachelor's or higher) during the spring and fall semesters.
-We are among the 16 participating CATALYST Summer Training Programs and the only program in cancer prevention. Underrepresented minority students, students from economically disadvantaged and underserved communities, & students with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
