Description:
The Dr. W. Burghardt Turner Fellowship is designed to direct aid to graduate/professional students who have demonstrated academic achievement and overcome a disadvantage or other impediment to success in higher education. Turner Fellows at Stony Brook University contribute to the diversity of the student body by demonstrating their commitment to facilitating and enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion effects in their academic programs and activities.

Full-tuition scholarship.

More than $26,000 annual stipend for Ph.D. students, or $10,000 annual stipend for master's students.

Subsidized health insurance as SBU graduate students.
