Description:
We have a National Science Foundation (NSF) grant called Bridge to the Doctorate (BD) Fellows.

This is a 5-year funding program to obtain a PhD in STEM fields! We have 12 slots available.

The fellowship (NSF) funds the first two years and we provide you for up to three years after that, supported by an advisor or academic department. The BD Fellowship offers a $32,000 annual stipend, health insurance, and full tuition. As a BD Fellow, you will be one of a cohort of 12 like-minded future leaders in STEM. Our commitment to you goes beyond your academic training; we see our BD Fellows as whole people and work to ensure that you have whatever professional development, support, and encouragement you need to be your best self and successfully complete your graduate degree.

Requisites:

1. Affiliated to an LSAMP program as an undergraduate (names vary according to institution)

2. Earned or will earn a STEM bachelor's degree (including psychology and economics) before Fall

3. Have not earned an advanced degree

4. Are not currently enrolled in a graduate degree program

5. U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
