The Department of Civil and Coastal Engineering at University of Florida is seeking a full-time postdoctoral fellow specializing in workforce and human development and educational technology. The successful candidate will work in the Simmons Research Lab and help manage research activities related to three workforce development projects funded by the National Science Foundation. At a minimum, applicants should have 1) PhD in Civil Engineering, Construction, Engineering Education, STEM Education, Education, or a closely related social science field; 2) Expertise in quantitative and/or social science research; and 3) A record of peer-reviewed publications. Desired qualifications include: experience with research on broadening participation, educational technology, engineering education, and/or civil engineering education; experience with conducting systematic literature reviews; experience with publishing in peer-reviewed journals; ability to work collaboratively across multiple disciplines; and ability to communicate effectively and mentor other students.
