Description:
The Jackson Laboratory Summer Student Program is designed for students who want to immerse themselves in genetics and genomics research. It emphasizes laboratory discovery, communication of knowledge, and professional growth.

The 10-week program is offered on two campuses - The Jackson Laboratory, Bar Harbor, Maine, and the Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine, Farmington, Connecticut.

Approximately 32 fellowships will be offered in Bar Harbor and 11 fellowships will be offered in Farmington.

Participants receive a stipend of $5250 and all other costs including room and board, travel, and research supplies are also covered.
